I have deleted everything I can find everywhere on my computer. STUPID new launcher!

GAH!!

The control panel still shows files that I can't delete!

Yeah, I missed the notes on the new patcher, and loaded a totally new game.  My UI defaulted, and can't locate old everfrost ui settings for any toon.

Already reset Bugsy's UI, and saved.  Now to start remaking the other toons.

THEN I GET TO PLAY WITH EQ2MAPS Tongue

After I am done, gonna do the same thing, and delete all old content.  I have crap spread all over the computer.

after 14 hours I got this error

Best thing to do would be to restart the launcher.

As a silly question, your running the launcher in admin mode right?

Rat, et al., just for my experience...I had to download the new launcher by itself--mine didn't upgrade upon starting an old launcher. But, when I did that it defaulted to a user area on my computer, NOT to where EQ2 (and Profit, and Maps) was installed, so I simply changed the default install location to where EQ2 was originally installed and everything worked, profit, maps, etc...

Just for your reference. Hope it all works out for you eventually.

It IS working now!  
I have to say that I you folks!  You have no idea what a miserable week this was (for multiple reasons other than the game issues). To have so many of you do what you could to help meant more to me than you know. 
 I really can not thank you enough.

And now...... back to the regularly scheduled craziness!
